Stefan Wengenroth I started as a painter of stained glass windows. This valuable training has above all honed my powers of observation and design principles. In this interesting field, there is tension between medieval tradition and modern interpretation by contemporary artists. I have been able to gather important experiences for myself personally.

After my training I graduated from a college for design and started in an advertising agency that designed print products for the biggest German tour operator. Of course, here I was at the right place to cultivate my distinct enthusiasm for distant countries.

After ten years and many valuable experiences at this agency, I moved to Basel, Switzerland. The city is beautifully situated on the river Rhine and from its old town you have a fantastic view of the Black Forest.

Basel is also directly on the border of France and Germany. It is lively and multicultural. Basel calls itself Culture unlimited, which is underlined by 40 museums with exhibitions of world renown.

I worked at an agency for corporate communications and added the area of magazine design to my repertoire. Over the years I added the contents of my print work to the online area. My focus is always: how can the topic of the story best be presented visually and how does this support the suspense of the whole publication.
